Conference Series on Aging in the Americas (CAA) is aimed at utilizing research to augment knowledge about dimensions of healthful aging for people of Hispanic and Latin American descent and fostering emerging scholars in the field.
Presenters: Gale Boyd, Joseph Lariscy, Deborah Rho. 9:00 am -- 2:00 pm (lunch will be served). Overview: Learn about the Possibilities for Business, Demographic, and Health Research using Non-Public Census Research Center Microdata. This event will include presentations of research undertaken with these Micro-Data and a discussion of how researchers interested in planning projects using them should proceed. Attenders will have the opportunity to discuss with the presenters the researcher's goals and planned projects, and to explore how they might use Non-Public Micro-Data to advance those.
The National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) will hold a meeting of the Cohort Studies Working Group on Friday, April 4, 2014 in Los Angeles, CA. If you are interested in presenting a paper please email an abstract to Dora Costa by Dec 3, 2013.
The deadline for submission of paper abstracts is January 15, 2014. Authors chosen to present papers will be notified by February 14, 2014. The deadline for submission of applications to the Workshop is March 1, 2014 and workshop applicants will be notified by March 15.
